Miso is a popular restaurant!
Yes
The ramen new [arata] miso others of the immediate neighborhood are absolutely true! Some people say that they love me more than Shingen
I think menya yukikaze is best
I do not know exactly what part of the credit card payment is.
I smiled only if I smiled, but it is not as simple as other stores. I waited about an hour but I do not seem to like the taste.
I see… Ramen Shingen says that because it is a tourist, I will not change the taste. Because I stopped by for the sightseeing, not the citizen. It seemed like I did not match your mouth ... It was a pity. If it was not Miso it might not have been too good (> _ <;) Basically, there are many ramen with a strong taste ... If you like the taste that you smell like, this shop is not recommended. (• • ︿ •.)
Amazing ramen, took about 12mins to walk here as it is a walk from the main city parts. We were lucky to only have to wait for approx 10mins & the line kept moving which was good.I chose the ramen with stewed pork (kakuni) & tosa soup base (I was supposed to order the miso base but didn’t choose correctly). The ramen was amazing & would love to go back to try the miso base that everyone keeps talking about in the reviews. Most people also ordered the rice as well, I wish I ordered that too. Staff keep to themselves but are polite when serving. The food came out quickly, if you are a small eater I would suggest that you order the half bowl as the size is huge!! I’m surprised I ate majority of my ramen but it was so good!
Best Hokkaido style ramen! Worth the long wait. Can’t wait to go back at eat this again!
The soup broth were flavourful. Texture of the noodles was just right. We love the pork, generous cut of the pork. Gyoya was also delicious, worth trying.Go for it!
Don’t leave Sapporo before eat a ramen here. One of the most famous. Crazy good and normal price
Delicious ramen, and reasonably priced at 800 yen. The line tends to be long, however, and it may not always be worth the wait.
Good ramen, worth the wait. Very rich taste and half ramen is great for kids
Ordered the Shinshu Miso Ramen👠Portion was generous as the soup was rich, but not too heavy. Noodles were firm just the way I liked it and the gyoza were only okayyyyy. All and all, definitely come try it out 🤤
One of the best ramen i ever had. The noodles is chewy. Meat is incredibly delicious. And the soup is something. U should try this went visit Sapporo. The only bad thing is, the place quite far from main station.
Perfect ramen, a must when you visit Sapporo. Don't be discouraged by the queue, it's definitely worth the wait! The policy is "eat fast and leave" so the wait won't be long ;-)
Definitely must try when you are in Sapporo!! Tried the Miso ramen which has a deliciously thick broth but not overly salty for the winter weather. The broth has this wokhei flavour as south east asians call it. Charsiu is soft and tasty, however doesn’t melt in your mouth like some others.Perfect comfort food for the negative temperatures. Had to queue around 40mins, of which half was outdoors. However definitely worth the wait! 10/10
So I queued about 50min outside and 15min inside in nearly -2 cold weather... Was it worth it? Yes. I had Shinshu (miso based) lamen and fried rice. Some folks saying it's too salty - but hey, don't forget Lamen is street food and categorized as junk food that your mum would not happy learning you are eating it. I never had good miso lamen in Tokyo, in Tokyo most of the Miso lamen tastes like miso soup-ish and tasteless. So you must had Miso flavor - because it is, very hard to find good miso lamen outside of Hokkaido! And their fried rice was really good too, flavorful and right taste - I'd agree with other comment that it much better than some of the Chinese shop in a town.
The ramen comes in a huge bowl, so if you don't eat I don't recommend taking their set which comes with fried rice and/or gyoza. The noodles are quite good, I had the Shinshu ramen, which is miso base. They also have a spicy miso one, as well as salt and soy sauce bases. The menu is also available in English. The line was quite long at 8pm, which goes from inside to outside. Once you get inside it's about 15-20 minutes waiting. Staff is not extremely friendly, guess due to the amount of people visiting.
There is a queue for a reason. The ramen was really good and the miso broth was really good
Lined up 1.5hrs in the snow to get this amazing bowl of miso ramen. The best in all of Sapporo!
The best ramen I ate in Japan so far the place reaaaalllly is worth lining up for !
The line moved fast. The ramen was very flavorable. My 1st ramen in Sapporo. Would definitely go back & wait in line if I had to.
Deliciously rich miso broth, as expected for a well known ramen joint in Sapporo. Waiting time varies, I visited the restaurant around 4 o’clock in the afternoon on a Sunday and waited for 45 minutes. Staff was very efficient and it was wonderful to see them cooking and working in front of us also. Ordered extra toppings (corn and butter) for an extra kick of flavour.
Constantly having queue at this ramen stall. Can understand why as the ramen is tasty and it is cheap! ¥800 for a bowl of happiness. Especially during winter, the queue never stops, it warms your stomach in a way you can never imagine!
You cannot miss this place as tourist ! The ramen is so good and you just slurp all the soup and you must try the fried rice ! Simply amazing
Amazing ramen! Truly authentic experience in a ramen shop. They serve very flavourful miso ramen, which is famous in Hokkaido. They also have English menu and it is easy to converse with the staff. We needed to wait a little, but the turnover was fast and it is definitely worth it!
This restaurant is highly popular for a reason - outstanding ramen with the perfectly flavoured miso (Shinshu) broth, pork that melts in your mouth and noodles with a bounce.Special shout out to the fried rice, which was simple but cooked with an abundance of flavours.
I didn’t have to wait long. Broth was good, it had a deep rich flavour, a little on the salty side. Dumplings were good. Fried rice was okay.
The queue was only 3 people deep when we arrived, so no wait at all. Just lucky with timing, I guess. It was about 15 people deep by the time we were done. Great bowl of ramen. Excuse the photo. I inhaled half of it before I thought of documenting it. The miso soup was very good indeed. Comforting, heart warming and delicious. Try it.
First visit to hokkaido and the ramen didnt disapoint me especially Shingen ramen, iwould say this is the best ramen i have ever try and i visited the shop almost everyday because i stay very neaby they serve with very big bowl with reasonable price is a must visit ramen shop.:)
Nice ramen. You can't go wrong with it. The long queue at 10:30pm (at minus 2 degrees) said it all.
It was minus 3 degree celcous and 20 people waiting outside for 1 hour. The ramen is good, but I wouldn't cameback u less the queue is shorter
This small very local ramen restaurant has everything you want, fast service, excellent ramen and a large variety of side dishes. Extremely recommend. Also don't get discouraged by the cue it may seem long but advances pretty fast.
This place is absolutely divine. Hokkaido is known for its miso ramen and Shingen's spicy miso ramen does not disappoint. Choose from either thinly sliced chashu pork or the thicker braised pork that I prefer, and add a pork fried rice to soak up all the ramen soup with after you've finished the ramen. They even have a special lunch set of ramen + rice + gyoza for ¥1100. I really can't decide which is my favourite ramen between Shingen and Ebisoba just down the road. I may have to go with Ebisoba only because Shingen is quite oily and the broth is quite heavy whereas Ebisoba is more balanced. Comes down to personal preference, but both are highly recommended. We went on a Monday night at 7pm and only had to wait for 10 min indoors.
Great Miso Ramen. The stock is creamy like milk. The kyoza is very good as well.
Visited on Monday mid afternoon around 3:30. They were 7 persons seated inside the restaurant waiting area bench. Waited for about 20 minutes. Order a half size miso ramen and asked the service staff to have less salt for my noodle. Noodle was delicious n the soup was just salty enough for me.
I was intrigued by this place for the huge line of locals. Pretty good standard miso Sapporo ramen. But I would say it's ultimately not worth the wait given how many other good options there are in the area. There's frequently 30+ people in line. If you do go, get the spicy miso, and get the fried rice.
they open at 11.30, and we came at 11.15 already a long line of customers waiting outside (it was snowy january). And the wait was worth it! delicious ramen and gyoza.
Popular ramen joint for locals, but started to have more tourists visiting (including myself haha).Very rich miso soup and nice chewy noodle , the meat is good but not amazing. Arrived at 12pm and waited for 30min cause we arrived just before the lunch crowd. Their fried rice and dumplings also very good ! If you are around the area I’d recommend you to come , but if you stay too far then you can try other good ramen place near your area. Cash only and English menu available.
